  1. That was great first take Heath, but let's just get one more, OK?

...and...free agent frenzy, here we go scene...Take 2...annnnd...ACTION!

No complaints here. We got Anderson for little more than Ty Conklin money and added some muscle to the Press Box in Dave Koci, for only a little over minimum wage. The next step is to fill that third line centre job and I think we're good to go.

    Smyth-Stastny-Hejduk
    Svatos-Wolski-Jones
    McLeod-Moore-Stewart
    Tucker-Galiardi-Stoa
    Hensick-Koci

    Hannan-Foote
    Liles-Salei
    Clark-Cumiskey
    O'Neill

    Anderson-Budaj

If we can still get Domenic Moore for $1.5M, and we can sign Jones ($605,000) and Cumiskey ($522,500) to their Q.O.'s, we dress Gailardi and Stoa every night and our cap hit sits at $53,660,833 or in other words, $3,139,167 in cap space.

With the incredible Anderson contract, maybe adding Pyatt and demoting Stoa isn't such a bad idea. O'Neill costs a lot more than Vernace would have, so if Klee would ink for $800K, that would actually save money.

Conklin would have adequate at $1.25M, but getting Anderson and saving $1.2M, plus adding Koci for $1.2M less than Pyatt, are the two greatest things Greg Sherman has ever done. Those two moves will forever be known as his greatest legacy.
